Step aboard a traditional wooden felucca — one of the Nile's iconic sailboats — and let the city drift past while you relax with a cold drink and the river breeze. Your driver picks you up directly from your hotel and brings you back, so there is nothing to arrange on your own. Choose one hour for a peaceful escape, or two hours to sail around Zamalek Island and take in the full Cairo skyline at your own pace. For the most magical experience, book the sunset slot. Felucca sunset times vary by season: around 5:00–5:30 PM in winter, 6:00–6:30 PM in spring and autumn, and 7:00–7:30 PM in summer. When wind conditions are calm, a motorized felucca ensures your experience runs smoothly regardless of weather. Your selected start time is your hotel pickup time. Pickup is included from Downtown Cairo, Zamalek, Dokki, Mohandessin and the Pyramids area. Extended pickup from New Cairo, Nasr City, Heliopolis, Madinaty, Rehab, Sheikh Zayed and Cairo Airport costs USD 15 per booking, payable directly to the driver. You may bring additional food and drinks on board. If the operator cancels because of weather or river conditions, you will be offered another time or a full refund.
